Translhextion is a professional hexadecimal online editor designed to assist users in reading and manipulating encoded articles with ease. Its features include highlighting special bytes, facilitating document verification and data repair, and even restoring lost documents. With an interface similar to that of a text editor, the menu functions are intuitive and easy to navigate.
Software Features
Translhextion supports script functionalities, allowing for character mapping, transformation, replacement, export, and enhancement. Users can also leverage the search and replacement capabilities of the application's character mapping tables.
How to Use
The latest update of Translhextion allows users to edit scripts directly without needing to dump them into a document or display. Text input is now automatically numbered in real-time. To begin editing, load and activate a table and press the <input>
key.
After dumping Japanese scripts, you now have the option to combine punctuation characters with their modified counterparts to create a script that resembles Thingy.
By popular demand, a hide/show hex view feature has been added for easier script examination, although this mode does not allow for editing.
Any modified bytes are now displayed in user-selectable colors, making them easily distinguishable.
An extended Thingy Table function with the inclusion of "^" allows for highlighting special bytes in user-selected highlight colors, formatted as follows: ^ XX.
The "Color Settings" dialog has been updated to accommodate new colors.
Fixed an issue where the majority of selected text colors did not take effect upon selection.
Translhextion now attempts to automatically install included Japanese fonts upon first run.
Aesthetically, there have been some changes to improve the user experience.
Thanks to Kitsune Sniper, the text editor has not only been updated but is now also available in HTML help file format.
