Dashcam Viewer for Mac is a robust video playback software for Mac OS X, designed to read and play videos captured by Mini0801 and BlackVue Dashcams. It simultaneously displays GPS data. The application also offers preliminary support for GuardTrak cameras.

Key Features

1. Video Content Review

This application features four independent windows for reviewing video content, examining graphical data, viewing maps (powered by Google), and checking other data. When you load the videos from your camera's microSD card in order, they will automatically start playing by date or name.

With Dashcam Viewer, you can inspect your vehicle's data in one window (speed, mileage, date and time, coordinates, and altitude), Google Maps, bearing, and status, while observing distance and speed graphs in other windows.

2. Basic Playback Controls

In addition, the player window displays the exact quality of the videos they capture and provides simple playback controls: an interactive progress bar, volume slider, pause/play button, and a slider to skip to different clips.

Instead of skip/forward buttons, the application offers buttons to skip/rewind videos by one or ten files.

The viewer application also comes with a variety of preferences to play with. In its settings window, you can make modifications related to time format, Dashcam Viewer speed plots, bearing plots, HDOP plots, distance graphs, altitude graphs, and statistics views. Moreover, you can change output units and movie sequence modes.

3. Analyzing Data from Multiple Dashcams Simultaneously

In conclusion, Dashcam Viewer is a powerful application for reading dashcam videos and GPS data on your Mac.

Despite supporting only two cameras and an additional camera (partially), the Dashcam Viewer application displays a wealth of data and also allows you to review other dashcam clips without checking additional data.
